Well, don\u2019t worry because almost every man has gone through this dilemma at least once in their lives. We promise that it isn\u2019t as difficult as it may appear, which is why we have created a five-step guide to navigate you through the process of how to tie a tie.<\/p>\n

The Windsor Knot<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Windsor Knot is best suited for spread collar shirts and is more of a wide, triangular tie knot.<\/h3>\n

  1. Cross the wide end over the narrow end and slip the wide end up between the tie and the collar.\u00a0Then, drop it back down.<\/li>\n
  2. Wrap the wide end behind the narrow end (from right to left).<\/li>\n
  3. Bring the wide end in front and down through the loop.<\/li>\n
  4. Wrap the wide end around the narrow end again, then slip it through the loop.<\/li>\n
  5. Loosely smooth out the knot by slipping the wide end through it and pull tight.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Four-in-Hand<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    The Four-in-Hand knot tie is best for wide neckties made from heavy fabrics. It is more of a narrow tie know, which goes with a standard button-down dress shirt.<\/h3>\n

    1. Cross the wide end over the narrow end and bring it back around underneath.<\/li>\n
    2. Cross the wide end over the narrow end again.<\/li>\n
    3. Pull the wide end up and through the loop around your neck.<\/li>\n
    4. Loosely hold the front knot, bring the wide end down through the front loop.<\/li>\n
    5. Tighten the knot by holding the narrow end and sliding the knot up.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
